Journal

TRANSPOSITIONES is an interdisciplinary biannual peer-reviewed journal for humanities. Its high academic standard is guaranteed by professional double-blind evaluation of the contributions by an international team of reviewers, along with the supervision of an international advisory board consisting of respected scholars. The journal is correlated with the topics of the project Non-anthropocentric Cultural Subjectivity” realized as part of the Excellence Initiative – Research University” Programme, which means that it is oriented towards interdisciplinary publications addressing issues of posthumanist theories of the late anthropocene. At the same time, it will be open to the subjects going beyond the strict framework of posthumanism towards cross-border studies, taking into account the intertextual, intersemiotic and transmedial nature of the products of human culture.

The journal is owned by the University of Warsaw, Poland. It is published by BRILL Deutschland GmbH, ensuring professional editorial standards and international distribution.

Transpositiones is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available to the user. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access and is published under the terms of the Creative Commons licence CC BY 4.0.
